On edit: Ah. President Bush. Never mind. I had my mind on Florida because of the Castro thing, and I thought maybe you meant George P. Bush, Jeb Bush's son. :blush:

The real Castro died from eating tainted shellfish. The CIA had his double installed and keep the charade up to make money on the Cuban black market item sales.

I read it on the internets, so it must be true.

ideals for a President. I usually just say Jr.

When I first started posting anything on the internet, I always used President no matter which name followed the title. I think it all changed with the theft and the Dec 12 not so supreme decision and dictum - the day are country suffered another wound.

frustrating Bush and making him sad are good for this country. Get your priorities straight. We all die eventually but if Fidel can last at least until January 2009 I think it will be all the better for both us and Cuba.

It's not surprising if he has died.

The thing that surprises me, is that for someone who spoke for hours on end, everytime the spirit moved him, I wonder why he did not level with his people about how ill he was. Just pushing Raul to the front of the line, was kind of disrespectful to the public. Granted, he's a dictator, but he kind of owed his people some truth about his health. I don;t see that "revolutionary spark" in Cuba, and any transition is unlikely to be violent.. I think the people are just tired, and will handle what comes after his death.

He owed them more than he gave them at the end..
