Check it out... a freeper thread....
.. with NO raving loons! They're dealing with the AP story about the Geoprgia Board of Ed allowing Harry Potter books to remain in the schools. Several posters actually had coherent comments, and not one of them foamed at the mouth about Satan. (at least up to post #18)

One actually said "Fundies need to get the hell out of public school decisions."

Either some of you DUers are trolling over there, or the fundies are disheartened and quiet.

I'm all for free thought. Religion and dogma of any kind have no place in public schools though, otherwise, we would be bending over backwards to present every religious view to the students.

If you want your kids to learn religion, send them to a religious school. My parents did, I went k-12 to parochial school.
