Mysterious stomach bug sickens students, teachers in Tewksbury, MA
TEWKSBURY -- An elementary school in Tewksbury has been hit by a mysterious stomach bug.

More than 200 students and eleven teachers were out sick yesterday from the John F. Ryan Elementary School.

School Committee Chairman Keith Rauseo says he was told by parents that whatever the illness is, it seems to pass in about two days.

Rauseo says cleaners were called in to thoroughly scrub down the school.

1. The same thing is making its rounds in Northeast Texas
We had two docs hospitalized with it this last week who got it from their patients.
It's a nasty bug. Thankfully it passes fast.

6. Here in D.C. too, at Catholic University...
that's why I don't get the "mysterious" bit about that story. What mystery. Judging from all the responses, it's running rampant through the country right now. Typical of this time of year with holiday gatherings and increased time indoors.

4. There is a stomach virus
hitting florida pretty hard. It is supposed to only last three days but everyone I know has had it for at least two weeks. I read an article about it recently stating it has pretty much hit the entire state.
