CNN.com puke-fest
Has anyone else here today gone over to CNN to read the emails that they have posted on their website showing how people viewed/felt about 2005?

It may just be me, but the emails that they selected to post for their year in review segment really p*ssed me off!! Normally I can stand reading dogmatic clap-trap and not let it effect me, but for some reason this time round it really got to me. (It read like a love letter to this administration.)

If you haven't had the pleasure of reading this vitriolic puke you can go the link below.

1. I don't get where you're coming from...
The majority of those letters are even-minded. There is only one -- possibly two or three -- that read like a "love letter to this administration." The last letter was very accurate in contrasting Bush to Clinton and the fact that Bush seems to get away with murder. I'm a little confused as to what and exactly why you're complaining.

2. I read them carefully
and thought they were pretty evenly divided. Some were not at all poltical, and it always surprises me how uninterested "normal" (as in not DU'ers) people are in politics.

The one line about people accepting blame for their own situation in Katrina bugged me but it was balanced out with a humdinger dissing Bush at the end.

You can't expect them all to be on "our side."

4. I agree with orion9941...
About half of those were Bush loving posts, while all but one or two blamed Bush for anything.
