WP: Joint Chiefs unanimously oppose Surging troops
The Bush administration is split over the idea of a surge in troops to Iraq, with White House officials aggressively promoting the concept over the unanimous disagreement of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, according to U.S. officials familiar with the intense debate.

1. Of course they do
Because it will have all the lasting effect of using a broom to stop the tide from coming in. I thought Stupidhead said he always listened to the military folks, and their opinion was the last word on his decisions about whether more troops or fewer troops were needed, and he respected their experience and acumen? Is that in the round file now, along with the ISG report?

3. Let's see...the EXPERTS say one thing... and bushcabal say another.
As always.

And let's see...so far, the EXPERTS have been 100% correct and bushcabal have been 100% dead wrong.

Of course, bushcabal will ignore the EXPERTS (as always) and do what they want to do.

And be proven 100% dead wrong.

As always.

And more people will despise us, we'll be even less safe, and many more people will die because of the bush regime.

With friends like george w. bush & cabal, America doesn't need foreign enemies.

6. Someone needs to cover Cheney closely
and see what he's saying in his next speech. That will be a big headsup for what Bush is going to do.

4. Do you expect these bozos to start listening to the military?
They canned the general who told them they needed more troops in Iraq at the outset! They think they know "better"-and it is ruining not only the military, but our country as well.

5. Not to worry. There's a new sheriff in town
or rather going over to visit in Iraq. As soon as he gets back, he's either going to have to shill for the Bush/Cheney and tell the JC to follow orders, or resign. Maybe he'll make history for the shortest term as SecDef!

BTW, still waiting on hearing the details of the Iraq/Iran agreement.

8. The country is being set-up by Bush/Cheney and the neo-cons
....who want all-out nuclear war to deal with any country or region that does not accept their goal of a New World Order with American domination. If traditional methods of force prove ineffective, then Bush will simply escalate to the next level which is nuclear.
