Can anyone say 'ESCALATION'? Bush wants to continue his folly by
sending even more troops to Iraq and enlarge the ground forces to fight his imaginary War on Terror!

In the late 1960's, this was called an escalation of the 'war' in Viet Nam.

2. the neocrims, like sheep, cannot back up
Sheep do not reverse, they turn around very slowly for that, and are rather predictable.

They will keep going to war until they are stopped. The terminator film introduces us
to a similar creature:
That <neocrim> is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead. - reese

3. I really, really think he's insane
He must be. How could any sane person continue to persist in this disaster of an occupation, when there is clearly no way to "win" this kind of war? He continues to be willing to cause many thousands more people, on both sides, to suffer and die for his enormous ego. Surely somebody has explained to him why this war can't be won, and that his stubbornness is getting people killed. Only a true sociopath would be willing to keep throwing away lives and money, just because he doesn't want the president who ends it.

So, he's completely willing to call on Americans and Iraqis alike to continue suffering losses until he's out of office, just because he's been indulged and catered to all of his life, and refuses to grow up and accept responsibility for his screw-ups. This is not just a failed business venture, which his daddy's rich buddies can make go away for him, this is life and death, for people except for him and his loved ones. I don't think we have the luxury of NOT impeaching him. Too many lives are at stake, and he is too pig headed to admit his mistakes.
