1. Blue Tigers!
My new obsession ->

We infiltrate by getting people to volunteer in their communities to help others with day-to-day problems as Democrats! It draws in more grassroots people who want to identify themselves as Dems. It could revolutionize the Party!

BLUE TIGERS

3. I'm really enjoying the whole spectrum of Progressive radio...
There's Thom, who tends to be serious, but he's still engaging - mostly because he's got such a brilliant mind. And on the other end there's Stephanie Miller, who does self-described "fart jokes," but still plays an important role in discussing serious issues. So cool.

4. You'd be more than welcome...
I've got nothing against true believers in the Democratic party. Not only does it strengthen the organization, it cures the people who do come of many of their illusions about the American electorate.

So go look up your local county party in the phone book and go to their next meeting. Just be sure to actually volunteer to canvass and "table" (man tables), rather than be just a typical far-left disruptor who comes to a few sessions to yell, but immediately leaves as soon as there is work to be done.

5. Nice stereotype.
I guess that's where the "conservative" part comes in, huh?

Around here, good people all across the spectrum pitch in to make things happen.

7. It comes from experience
There is always a grain of truth in stereotypes. Sometimes it's more like a whole grain silo of truth.

My experience is that the hard left wing of the party is big on words, but most disappear when the real work starts. That's because expressing disaffection and attacking people for not doing a good job is a lot more fun than actually taking responsibility for doing it yourself.

Mind you, this doesn't apply to everyone. The handful who do show up when it isn't fun are good people, and my friends. They have more credibility in my book than the entire D.U. put together. They've earned it.
