Repuke Robin Hayes has a plan for victory-- teach Muslims about Jesus!
Rep. Robin Hayes (R-NC):

“Stability in Iraq ultimately depends on spreading the message of Jesus Christ, the message of peace on earth, good will towards men. Everything depends on everyone learning about the birth of the Savior.” (Via Atrios) 2:00 pm | Comment (49)

1. I think Muslims could perhaps teach Hayes about Jesus Christ
There is a whole sura in the Qur'an named for Mary (Miriam), the mother of Jesus. The story of his birth is told there. Jesus is mentioned often in the Qur'an and is revered as a prophet and the Seal of the Saints.

2. Jesus of Nazareth is the second-most important prophet of Islam
after Mohammed. The Muslims probably know more about Jesus than this chuckle-head does.

4. GREAT IDEA -- let's send Hayes on an evangelical mission to Fallujah!
I'm sure Jesus will protect him.

9. With boxes full of bibles
He can stand out in the middle of the street giving them away. As equally insane as the guys who carry wooden crosses up and down bourbon street during mardi gras trying to convert the drunken hedonists.

13. Boss, your comment reminded me...
last time I was in Vegas--August, I think--there was a guy hauling a full-size cross up & down Fremont St. He was a classic redneck, like the guy you see on COPS cooking meth in his double wide; he was wearing greasy torn jeans, a wife-beater shirt with an Dale Earnhart "3" logo and the cross...had a wheel.

14. These guys in the quarter are a hoot
I believe they walked right off the set of Deliverance. A few years back I was trolling Canal Street on Mardi Gras morning before the parades started and heard a godawful commotion. One of the zealots was shouting at three young ladies clad in nothing but body paint and they were shouting right back. Outstanding live entertainment.

And then there was the baptist minister who took his video camera to southern decadence and shot hours of video to prove his point that, well, gays are decadent!! Me thinks video for private consumption. A few blocks further down bourbon and he could have discovered that straights were decadent as well.

5. This was the same whack-a-mole . . .
"Saddam Hussein and people like him were very much involved in 9/11," Rep. Robin Hayes said.

Told no investigation had ever found evidence to link Saddam and 9/11, Hayes responded, "I'm sorry, but you must have looked in the wrong places."

he is accusing Barack Obama of being "once a Muslim always a Muslim" although he is a Christian. So why do they want to convert Muslims to Christians but its not OK for Mr. Obama to already be a Christian? These people are stupid buffoons.

Onward Christian Soldiers
Marching as to war
with the cross of Jesus
going on before...

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."
Jesus H. Christ, Matthew 10:34

Luke 12:51
"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law."
Jesus H. Christ, Luke 12:51

"He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one."
Jesus H. Christ, Luke 22:36

17. Yeah, no way it'll look even more like a Crusade then!
:sarcasm:

Yes, they are insane - they think getting Muslims to trade belief in one mythical being for another will actually make them forget we illegally invaded their country, raped pillaged and murdered thousands upon thousands, and basically plunged their country into the only real Hell that exists.

That'll work!
