A couple of follow-up questions for Carlson:

-- For most of us, when "you don‘t believe what your eyes tell you," you could be described as unrealistic, even delusional. Why is this a good quality in a president? Should the lives of our troops be at the mercy of someone who fits this description?

-- If some B.S. is good, is a lot of B.S. great? Back in March, you agreed that the Bush Administration has a "pattern that the rhetoric does not match the reality on the ground." A pattern of false rhetoric would seem to be more than a "tiny bit of B.S."

Maybe this goofiness from Carlson is why his show has abysmal ratings and was moved from prime-time.

Hey, anyone else notice he got rid of the Bowtie?

he went to the open collar, now a regular tie. he looks haggard, and he's aged 10 years since joining MSNBC.

his ratings are dreadful, and it's no accident MSNBC moved him out of primetime. I have to figure they owe him too much to dump him.

Here's a question: With Olbermann's ratings on the rise, why isn't MSNBC looking to bring aboard another left-leaning host? The right-leaning hosts haven't scored well in the ratings.

by the show's next anniversary, which i think is in the spring. i bet he has a big contract, and once it's up, he'll be gone.
