Got to catch a plane today...

so I get up at 5:30 PST. Even before I get coffee, I turn the tube onto CNN Headline News. The first story said that 81% of Americans believe in angels.

Was I somehow teleported to the 12th century?

1. Watching Denver and hearing that some will not make it home for the holidays due to the fact that planes are scheduled so tightly that there really aren't many empty seat to fill with those whose planes never took off...or landed. Also there's something so unattractive about sleeping on the floor of the airport on cardboard food containers with a lot of strangers.

2. The current system where you can be searched, prodded, and poked and the future system where the person/people at the monitor get to look at you naked.

Take a car, bus, or train next time. All things considered, it looks much less stressful.

3. I don't even travel on holidays

For these reasons. It's not a big deal. I see my family at other times during the year.
