Why Stealth Conservatism MUST be broken
There are several instances where a group called the Traditional Values Coalition has appeared on CNN.

Gee, this Traditional Values Coalition must be a pretty OK group then, right?

NO!!!

Let's see here, the TVC has been connected to several incidents:
One where religious zealots were planning to throw urine filled balloons at gays and lesbians
Referring to transgendered individuals as "she-males" on their website
Jack Abramoff and the Indian Gaming Scandal
And it's even listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center

Can you imagine CNN having someone from the Klan or Aryan Nations on one of their shows on a regular basis?

Take a look at Christian Conservatives, they often cite Paul Cameron when they want to say something negative about gay people. Little do they know (Or do they know?) that Cameron has been discredited by several psychological and sociological organizations around the country.

Stealth Conservatism is a bane to the welfare of our Republic. As long as we have these liars and extremists parading around as 'compassionate conservatives', our country's condition will NOT improve.

1. Any group with "traditional" and "values"
in their name is automatically suspect in my book.

2. Case in point.
John McCain is not a moderate. If anything he is to the far right of Bush. M cain is willing to sacrifice more troops for his election bid. I wish DUrs would refer to him as M cain. The cain of the bible. The cain who slew his brother.

3. I was thinking of using him as an example actually
Among the more conservative things we don't usually see in the media are the facts that he supports teaching of intelligent design and he also supported Arizona's failed marriage amendment. Not to mention he endorsed Ken Blackwell.

4. Neoconservatives have been around as long as man.
They just have different names in different ages. They are known by their love of war, murder, torture, killing, and death. In the time of Jesus they were called Pharisees, In Spain and elsewhere during the late middle ages they were the Inquisitors, at the time of the French Revolution they were known as Jacobins. During the Second World War and prior they were known as Fascists and Nazis, and today we call them neo-conservatives. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if the original Cain wasn't a Neo-con.
