Folks tend not to shop if there is another war breaking out, so...
...They've waited until after Christmas, the birthday of the prince of peace, to bomb the fuck out of Iran. That's the impression I get, that they are merely holding off till after the shopping season for all the retailers to count their swag, and then let the shit hit the fan.

Timing is everything you know, and no one wants to go out shopping when we are attacking another middle eastern nation unprovoked. I really do appreciate this from the neo cons, allowing us to enjoy one last holiday, and allowing us to re-generate the war funding with our tax dollars.

Thanks guys, and a prosperous new year to you!

1. I think you're on the right track Philosoraptor...
I'm sure they've got something that will suck royally ready to roll out in January. Until congress takes away *'s so-called 'war powers', the world is not safe.

Thanks, Philosoraptor, for your great posts every morning. You keep asking all the tough questions that the MSM should be asking.

All my best to you and yours. :toast:

2. That may be the case
But if so, folks around here are already jittery. Every merchant I've talked to, and even professional folks like doctors, are saying that business is extremely slow for this time of year. In the case of the docs, their appointments for regular patients for checkups is way down-seems only someone who is sick or injured is coming to see them.

3. bombing another
country never stopped me from shopping. Why I remember being at the mall when GWI started. Iran is 25 years to late at being leveled. Carter should have done it 72 hour after the embassy was taken

6. Are there any innocents in Iran you don't wish "leveled"?
Isn't there other countries we could "level" as well. How about North Korea or even China, they stole our spy plane you know...Merry Christmas and Peace on Earth and Good Will to Mankind......I'm sure this is your sentiment as well right?????
