He also reminded me of Garfield the cat for some reason.

His admin. did give us VP fuck Cheney, and SecDef fuck Rumsfeld.

We had his picture on our squadron wall. We were all glad to have a bad chapter behind us, and a guy with no worse tendencies than a bad golf swing in charge. Definitely one of the good guys.

12. I'm a true blue Democrat...
But he's the last Republican President I respected. I wasn't alive during his term. But he like me is a Michigan native and I always thought he was an honorable man with the best intentions for this country. He like Carter got handed a mess, hopefully history will look back on President Ford in a better light more and more as time goes by.

Though I probably would have never voted for Ford I would take him anyday over Nixon, Reagan, and the Bushes.

One of 435 congresspeople. handpicked by Nixon to complete disgraced former veep , Agnew's term.

Ford ends up serving out also-disgraced Nixon's term, runs on his own, loses..retires to Palm Springs to play golf.
