I highly recommend it. Anyone see the documentary "Shut Up and Sing"?

5. Not an anti-chicks doc.

It was their answer to the hate mail they received. They used footage that was shot for their "Top of the World" tour, which was when Natalie Mains made a simple, incautious remark in London, then carried it through with the fallout from that remark, to the cutting of the new album.

Wonderful movie.

I was not a Chicks fan before, had only heard a couple of their things in passing, but was very impressed with "Taking the Long Way" - I have a copy at work, and another at home.

I ever buy anything country, I'll definitely start with them. I wish the Democrats in congress had their backbone.

is about freedom of speech. They were covered for several years-
before and after the "incident".

I wouldn't say they are all country music. They cover a good range
of styles, very versatile. The CD was surprisingly great. I asked for
it for Christmas just to throw my support behind them. I even
recognized a song from Medium (my favorite show) that I had
fallen in love with. It's a beautiful lullaby.

7. I'm not into country, either

But the Chicks are really great. The only other country musician I love is Willie Nelson. I've loved him long before I knew he was a librul. When you get to that quality of music, the genre doesn't matter so much.
