I wonder how the rest of the world sees this imminent hanging of Saddam,

like the bush crew wants the world to see it or as it really is. We are wanted to see it as a step in the right direction in the war on terror, but what it really is, is the silencing of a very possible future witness.

I doubt this brutal exercise, following the conviction of the ruthless dictator by a kangaroo court controlled by an occupying force, will do much to raise the standing of the United States in world opinion.

On the bright side, BushAmerica is already held in such low regard by most of the world, it can't do much to diminish its reputation.
