Propaganda Campaign In Full Swing Over Hussein Execution

It seems that even the Iraqi Media is getting their dose of Washington-ordered propaganda film. The TV feed at the above link is looping footage of torture and other attrocities that occurred during Saddam Hussein's rule.

Now, I'm not saying that Hussein was a good guy by any stretch of the imagination. But I can't imagine the Iraqi people feeling any better off today than they did under Hussein. Most people in that country must be terrified about what will happen when the execution inevitably comes. While the United States tries to feel good about itself at this "milestone", those scenes of torture, violence and death are being relived by the Iraqi people. One has to ask themselves, is this Iraqi media network free to report all of the news that is happening in Iraq, even the things that our policies have spawned?

This is just a sickening and disgusting day for me. While I hear co-workers and others laugh about the execution and make comments like "let em' hang!" I can't help but just hang my head in shame over what we as a country have become under the Bush regime. If there is a God, may he/she have mercy on all of our souls.

1. Lawyer for Husseing reporting "mass confusion"
Saying that noone really knows what is going on at the moment or who has custody of Hussein. Seems to be a power struggle between the two parties. (Per Hussein Atty. on CNN feed)

2. Now showing a theatrical performance of some sort
At least they have moved off the Hussein kick for a little while. It may be because noone has any clue whats going on in the chaos that is Iraq.

3. Thou Shalt not kill
hey all you so-called Christians out there thats the big number one on the tablet. Every time we allow our courts and leaders to execute someone (even a monster like Hussein) we the people break that commandment and commit that sin. So if you are a citizen of a government that allows a Death Penalty you will violate that commandment, commit that sin and I guess burn in hell for eternity. I guess we all will.
