Remember how last year there was a bunch of speculation going around the net about whether or not Bush and Gonzales could fire Fitzgerald like Nixon fired Archibald Cox in the Saturday Night Massacre? Many people told me Bush and Gonzales didn't have the authority to remove Fitz. What's the main difference between Fitz and Cox. I know Cox was a Justice Department Prosecutor and Fitz is a "Special Counsel." I know Ken Starr and Lawrence Walsh (the Iran Contra Special Prosecutor) were both "Independent Counsels" appointed under that expired Independent Counsel Act. Do you think the Democrats should look into renewing that Independent Counsel law? I'd like some insight. Thank you, IndyLib
