Time to Grow Up and Join the Democratic Party (A slogan idea?)
Time to stop living in a land of make believe created by some right wing media clowns with their infantile arguments and their childish lies.

Time to leave behind the crackpot economics, and the tin pot foreign and domestic policies of the movement that calls itself conservative.

Time to support responsible governance, and reality based decision making.

Time to grow up and join the Democratic Party.

This theme could be expanded upon.

What do you think?

1. can we try it out on some senators and congresscritters first?
it seems to me that if we can convince them to join our party, things would be moving along much faster.

2. Insulting the target audience tends to not be a good business strategy. nt

7. It seems to have worked for them for the past 18 years.
In my opinion treating them as objects of contempt is a very good idea, if you want them to flee that party and that movement.

I've studied this propaganda thing more than most.

It would work.

9. Yes, better to be made fun of for our politeness,
rather than doing anything that might offend them, or possibly make them feel uncomfortable where they are.

5. It just reverses a meme they have about us.
They like to say that people start out as Democrats when they are young, partying and idealistic, then they grow up and become more conservative, implying that it's the wiser, more mature (and ultimately correct) choice. I don't know how effective it would be to turn that around, but I think it would be funny if it worked.

8. Exactly, I'm turning it around,
and it's so much more true when applied to them for the reasons I've given.

6. What Makes You Think They WANT toGrow Up?
Eternal youth and irresponsibility is the American Dream, the Reagan edition. Everything else is passe'.

No, if you want to sell the Democrats, you need to address the needs of the target audience: free night and weekend minutes, 180 channels, health care, food, shelter, clean water and clean air, disaster relief, little things like that.

10. Too wordy, though correct.

I just want to tell them to GROW UP!

Added on edit...

You have described exactly what I'm criticizing with about them with this theme.

I say they are vulnerable for the very infantilism that they've relied on to sell their so called conservative movement.
