2. The Country will probably degenerate into several regional confederations within a severely weakened US - with the Blue "I-95 Corridor" and "Pacific Coastal Plain" and "Great Lakes/Rust Belt" -- and a bunch of Red State Theocracies.

Yes to impeachment and all that.I wish that all of the people involved with any type of corruption and underminding our constitution of our good country ,would be subjected to have to have regular old health insurance with a $1,500/$5,000 deductable ,try to make a living with regular pay and these high gas prices and these yellow bellies are enlisted in the military and sent over to stay in Iraq indefinately until we "win."

From the beginning: I want people coming forward and saying Yes, Bush skipped out on his national guard service because he was a coke head and had to do community service. I want it to be universally acknowledged.

I want all the questions about 9-11 to be answered to my complete satisfaction.

I want every single sleazy thing that they are doing to come out.

I want a complete list of every single person who died or is missing due to hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

I want to know where every penny "lost" by the Pentagon went.

I want every person tortured by American personnel to have their stories written down and published.

I don't even care about punishment or retribution for these crimes -- I just want the the truth to come out.

Then lives to a ripe, old age, constantly reminded over the course of several decades what a miserable failure he was at everything; and then, haunted by the ghosts of all the people who were needlessly killed due to his incompetence, he dies a frightened old man, wallowing in his own shit.

Let him live in abject poverty to let him know just what happens to rich boys who waste money.

We take the Congress in 2006. Everything, all of their corruption on all fronts, gets investigated in non-stop hearings. On CSPAN 24/7. Picked up by all the major networks as half of their news programming every night. The populace gets irate at all the lies they've been fed. RW radio/tv/punditry try to save themselves by declaring that they were against Bush/Cheney/et al. the entire time, but they end up withering for lack of ratings. This further convinces the corporate owners of the media to become truly liberal in order to further their bottom lines. They roast Bush/Cheney/et al. 24/7.

Finally, all neocons and just plain cons are driven out of office in disgrace. The Republican party reinvents itself as the party of Eisenhower, and we go back to pre-George Wallace/Barry Goldwater days. We make a real attempt at the Great Society. That's such a success that we become a well-educated, properous, and just society. It continues that way until well after I die so I never have to listen to a Ronald Reagan/George W. Bush/Sean Hannity/Rush Limbaugh again.

No that's not what I want, I want justice done. So this pair has to be impeached and then imprisoned, preferably for life. Then the troops come home from Iraq and are given an honorable reception and decent jobs.

It goes nuke, Russia and China respond. The world is thrown into economic chaos, the dollar collapses, martial law declared, suspending the Constitution, Congress is dissolved as being irrelevant. Mutiny within the military results in civil war. Food distribution disrupted, medical care breaks down totally as newer more virulent bacteria emerge. But this is the good news.

The bad news is, a runaway greenhouse climate change occurs over a couple decades taking the average surface temperature of the earth to 125 degrees centigrade killing all complex organisms and only sparing high-temp algae/bacteria like found in thermal vents at the bottom of the seas. The seas slowly boil away to water vapor leaving the atmosphere at what was sea level at 150 pounds/square inch killing the rest of life. Over the next million years or so the water vapor rises to the upper atmosphere where ultraviolet radiation from the sun strips the hydrogen from the oxygen in the water vapor. The hydrogen escapes to space with the end result there is little water left and what was the earth is now a planet that resembles Venus, incapable of ever supporting life again and the only evidence that man ever existed are a few artifacts in space and an ever expanding shell of radio waves about 350-400 light years thick, that are so faint that no other intelligent life could ever hope to detect them.

My honest opinion is that Bush will be President For Life, and that elections will cease to matter. This will persist until the declining economic conditions of the USA force a class war, probably in about 2012, and the nation will fracture into several regional states, all of which will be poor, and none of which will ever be a major player on the world stage again.

My fantasy is that we all rise up and demand that things change and hold a general strike to force this whole government to resign.

Realizing that people have had enough - Congress begins an investigation and quickly finds evidence for impeachment procedings for Bush, Cheney, and the entire administration.

A total, stunning fall from the majority . A permanent place in shame, so they can look back to it for the rest of their lives.

I'm not fucking around. This country or this world will not survive another 3 years. These madmen have to be stopped now! It's a matter of life and death! As long as they are in power, there will never be peace. They don't have the moral capacity to stop being violent. This will continue to go and on as long as they are in power. We CANNOT wait for some magical pendulum swing. We cannot wait til the next election. What kind of a future do you want? A peaceful future or one with endless war, killing, and bloodshed? It's up to us. We have the power. We just have to quit being complacent and get our asses into gear. Complacency is the same as complicity. You have to believe in yourself and have a heart. Okay? We the (aware and conscientious) regain legislative power in the Congress followed by a responsible control of US security along with protection of US economy through the smart weighing of fair trade agreements.

Then The vast majority of voting citizens assumes power and demands compliance of the law as set forth by the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

America will so enjoy and respect all cultures that cooperation between religions and countries will be to see who can respond best to the betterment of all citizens. Since we all live on Earth we will pull together to fight pollution and solve resource needs. Ahhh yes.
