Bush disagrees with South Dakota abortion ban
Gee how very interesting. Not going to make people happy huh?

Snip: < US President George W. Bush signalled his opposition to a South Dakota abortion ban that forbids the procedure even in cases of rape or incest, saying he favors such exceptions.

But Bush declined to predict the outcome of any legal challenges to the legislation, which would make it illegal to terminate a pregnancy except in rare cases when it may be necessary to save the life of the mother. "That, of course, is a state law, but my position has always been three exceptions: Rape, incest, and the life of the mother," the US president told ABC news in an interview.

Asked whether he would include "health" of the mother, Bush replied: "I said life of the mother, and health is a very vague term, but my position has been clear on that ever since I started running for office." >

1. If Dubya thinks these exceptions are necessary, then the fundies are
even crazier than I thought.

4. -?-
W was elected by the fundies and the rich. The fundies love him for his phony Christ act and the rich love him because, he like them have no idea what it means to work. They don't want to harm their beautiful minds by thinking of "commoners" in America.

Let the troops die, but let them and their families be silent about it all is the GOP motto. Those oil royalties are pouring in.

2. LOL!
What is Junior going after the "middle" or the "Independents" now---trying to appear more rational and reasonable????

What is he doing? Junior has always kow towed to the fruit loops who were circling Terry Schiavo's death bed. That's his base! What is he doing making a remark like that?

Sometimes I think the man just hates EVERYONE...he detests everyone in America who makes under 10 million a year.

Every once in a while he throws a zinger at the Fundies...as if to tell them that he's not ruled by anyone and he can do what he wants.

In the end--he will trounce on everyone. We won't be hurt, because we never bought his "I'm a Christian" bull pucky. However, there are plenty of Fundies out there who will be in a state of shock when they realize that he didn't believe ANY of what he proclaimed to them about abortion, gay marriage or Christianity.

The man is a vacuous, lying elitist who has no soul. ...and if he heard someone say those words about him, he would take them as a compliment.

3. "three exceptions"?
B*sh forgot the fourth exception...the cocktail waitress he knocked up back in his bachelor days in Texas.

6. That's why the late-term abortion bill excluded both for the mother.
Clinton insisted that it be there, and the repubs refused to add it to the bill. Clinton vetoed it. * signed it. Sure. More lies.
