1. Ice Cube had a song with the lyrics
"Blacks are too fuckin' broke to be Republicans."

"So now you put the feds against me
cause I couldn't follow the plan of the presidency
I'm never givin' love again
Cuz blacks are too fuckin broke to be republican
Now I remember I used to be cool
till I stopped fillin' out my W-2
Now senators are gettin' hired
and your plan against the ghetto backfired
So now you got a pep talk
but sorry, this is our only room to walk
Cause we don't want a drug push
But a bird in the hand is worth more than the Bush"

(and that was his rant against Bush Sr.)

6. He left office last year (Term limit?)
The Mayors race was Jay Williams vs Bob Hagan with Williams the victor.
Now McKelvey (the Bushbot dem) is hoping to run this fall for some state office as a democrat (still!).

He's claiming he supported Bush in '04 to save our airbase from the BRAC closings. He points to it's eventual survival as proof that his "strategy" worked.

He's history.
