1. Right on!
Note last picture:
W would never remove his shoes or show any deference to others' religious customs...and he would never want to be seen having to have the Secret Svc detail re-tying his shoes for him. ("Remember, Mr. President, let's keep the feet separated this time, and avoid that tying-together thing again shall we?")

On the other hand, Bill's da bomb...I was never so proud as when he held the office.

Thanks for the pix!

15. I really miss a well-spoken, intelligent man running the government.
I have such a hard time watching the pretender now.

2. It really is so alarming to see the difference in atmosphere
created by these 2 very different Presidents. One is a real man, the other a puppet boy.

I long for those days too....I had some hope for a better world then.

used Bill in Gore's 2000 campaign.

Two big mis-steps. We've paid mightily for them both.

6. None of them keep their pecker in their pants. It's just that
the neo-cons couldn't find another way to destroy a very successful President, Bill Clinton. I think we should do the same for this administration. We should start by demanding an investigation as to why Jeff Gannon was given so much access to the West Wing. I think we will find that he was someone's gay date very high up in the administration.

Who is paying Gannon his living?
He still has his preposterous website that no one reads. Can't be making a living off of it.

Who is supporting Jeff???!!!

17. I read it sometimes.:-)
He has switched the comments off again, not that I ever commented. I think what he writes about liberals on his blog has run out of steam. I don't think he believes most of the stuff he writes because it's getting repetitious and boring. Maybe he should send DU another email to liven up his exposure.

7. I still think he was set up, the clinton bashers were getting desperate
and so tempted him with what they knew his weakness was and won. sad.

14. I've always wondered about Monica's up-bringing. What young lady,
on being introduced to the President, would offer to show him her thong?

19. You know, the sex drive in young women 16 - 25 is pretty powerful.
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 02:47 PM by Radio_Lady
I'd venture to say it's almost as powerful as it is in men. (In men, the testosterone level at age 18 is supposed to be seven (7) times as strong as it is in adult men.)

It is simply NOT that unusual for young women to want to access powerful and/or attractive men -- and usually inappropriate men -- to claim as their own. It seems cruel now that I understand more about life, but it happens everywhere, every day. Just ask some women about this feature of the human race -- we are supposed to be choosing the strongest and best and handsomest men to father our children.

You're talking to someone who has been there, and I speak from much experience.

What I had to offer was youth, vigor, and a chance to step out of the ordinary life these men were experiencing. Who in the heck could really resist?

In peace,

Radio_Lady

26.  What a nice thing to say!
Yeah, I was a roaring tigress then! I just mowed the men down and left them cowering in the corner.

However, I never encountered a President or any politician as poor Monica Lewinsky did -- just fellow broadcasters and assorted other gentlemen, along with a whole host of businessmen who shall remain nameless until they are all dead (or at least, most of them)!

Everyone encourages me to write a book, but I'm not really anyone important and it's a long and extremely tiresom story anyway.

But I did date Larry King! Somewhere there's a thread on that!

In peace,

Radio_Lady

11. If it weren't that it would have been something else
The RW had every intention of destroying Clinton's presidency at all costs. Clinton didn't destroy it.

9. Thank goodness this is a Clinton thread...
I had thought that maybe "the last President" was alluding to repealing of the 22nd Amendment...

16. The difference is breath taking.
I remember in 1997 I was in London and got in a taxi cab that was driven by an Indian. When he found out I was an American he started talking about Clinton and what a great man he is and how proud we should be to have him as a president.

When I was living in SE London I had roommates from Nigeria and I can't begin to tell you how much he would gush about how much he wanted to come to the US. He heard stories from friends who had been to school in the US. Unfortunately he had a few wrong ideas about some things...for example, he couldn't believe that there were Americans who lived in extreme poverty or didn't have easy access to health care. But he would say that when he thought of America, he thought of opportunity.

I doubt that many in the international community would share that sort of view now. How fast we can fall in nine years.

and then look at the thread with Condiliar and pickles. Chelsea and Madeline Albright are wearing appropriate, attractive clothes.

23. What is more noticeable is the ease with which
Clinton mingles with 'the people'. Bush stays in his bubble filled with dining rooms and sanitised hand picked elites. I hate that fugger.

The best news is he couldn't go to the Taj Mahal because they wouldn't move al the people who live nearby - hahahahahahha. How important are you if everyone hates your guts.
