Bush lied right from the get go.... He pointed to Ken Lay
And said I don't know this man....

And even though there was overwhelming evidence that yes, in fact he did know this man....

No one called him on it.... No one questioned him about the large donations... The relationship with the Governors Office...

Maybe it was because the people were just fed up with all the hounding of Clinton that they let that one slide....

Maybe....

But all that did, that over looking that first "little" lie, was turn the press and a vast majority of the public into Enablers for Bush and his bizzaro world...

I remember talking to people before 9/11 about this and they all just shrugged and said a variation of the following....

At least he didn't get a blow job in the Oval Office...

Which, in and of itself is meaningless...

But when you add the layers and layers of GOP spin, he lied about it... What kind of example does this set for the childrem... Yadda Yadda Yadda....

You get a dog and pony show instead of governance...

So now, if anyone says anything about Blow Jobs and Clinton...

I just answer, what kind of example is being set by the current occupant of the White House when every time he finds himself in a jam, he lies to get out of trouble...

Do you want your children growing up with that kind of example....

Is that the type of character you value...

I guess it all comes down to "it depends on what your definition of character is...."

1. He's been lying since the first day he took office
When his people claimed that Clinton/Gore staffers trashed the White House. GAO disproved it, and no one called him on that, either.

2. The freepers still use that too
No surprise, they still use the 52 Michael Moore's F9/11 lies too.

3. Yea, that was made into a big deal on Faux....
I remember....

that was the first time I watched Faux....

When the election was up in the air, they put this big map of the country up on the screen...

It was colored in Blue and Red....

And they would point to the vast amounts of red through out the country and say look at how little support the democrats have....

I got pissed right from the start....

4. He doesn't know anybody, he wasn't briefed and
he's very hopefull about every outcome.

I hope there are padded bars around his bed so he doesn't roll off and bash his head open.
