Freedom of Religion totally scares the Right Wing
The Right Wing are a bunch of pussies. They are afraid of everything.

They are afraid of big bad terrorists.
They are afraid of gays/lesbians.
They are afraid of people "not like them".

But most of all, they are scared shitless of Freedom of Religion.

They can't comprehend having to support someone's right to worship (or not) differently than them.
They can't comprehend having to accept that someone with different beliefs is a good person.
They can't comprehend the thought that their religion is not considered absolutely correct.
They can't comprehend the idea that people can believe different things yet still be True Americans.

Having to accept alternate religions in this country (or atheism) blows their logic circuits. They can't process the data. They can't understand how its possible for someone to believe differently yet still be "good".

In other words, they are dumbasses.

1. If they're absolutely right...
...how can they accept that someone doing things differently can be OK as well?

3. I agree that their main motivation is fear ...
which is a pretty stupid and sad way to live your life.

I think that for them, seeing that other people might think differently, really freaks them out because it threatens their belief that they are right and special. And plus, seeing things that are different than your experiences might make you think, which is REALLY scary for them.

4. Very well said...the neo-cons religious zeolots should be afraid......
Because when the Dems do get back in power....

There is going to be a nasty divorce between the neocons religious zealots and the government....
-in the divorce they will be cut off from direct access to the government
-in the divorce they will receive no money to push their agenda from tax payer money
-the divorce will implement a sliding tax scale for churches...the smaller and less income the smaller the taxes, the larger the mega church the more taxes they will pay....

Anyone else have any items they would like in the divorce....

Yes they are dumbasses who don't realize that they have doomed their cause!!!!

6. Any belief system that sanctions the idea of an "enemy" is bound to fail.
It's the same shit that's going down in the Middle East. If these right wingers were the Christians they claim to be, they'd forgive themselves and forgive the world.
