Are you happy with the results of REPUBLICAN ONE PARTY RULE?
That's right, REPUBLICAN ONE PARTY RULE. Just like China or the old Soviet Union.

REPUBLICAN ONE PARTY RULE.

Repeat it.

This is what we should be saying to all Repub voting acquaintances, especially as they point out how all the dismal shrubco failures are no long relevant since they won't be running for any more elections going forward.

They need to be reminded that while it's about shrubco, it's also about every single Repub politician who enabled his power grab. Every Republican owns the shrubco legacy.

REPUBLICAN ONE PARTY RULE.

2. It seems quite a few do.
There are a lot of calls to abandon the Dems because some are not "pure left" enough.

4. That's funny, I haven't seen many of those calls.
What I do see is a lot of calls for the Democrats to quit running as quasi-Republicans. We need a real opposition party, not a party afraid to state its values and FIGHT for them.

6. Maybe we need you to publish the facts about what makes one a
quasi- Republican. Give us a "purity" test so we'll know.

3. That sounds like a good campaign commercial. You could include a

recitation of all the terrible things happening and pound your theme of who's in charge throughout the TV and radio commercials.

I love it.

Recommended.

edit to add - I also like it because we need to hang all the problems on the entire Republican Party, not just Bush. His failures are the entire Republican Party's failures.

5. Yeah some nice juxtaposition of Soviet/Chinese May Day parades
or politburo meetings or Kruschev pounding his shoe on a table might be good. Juxtaposed with DeLay "Hammer" lapel pins or whatever.

7. I wasn't thinking of soviet parades, just the facts which are
bad enough along with the one party Republican rule meme.

IMO, there would be too many people turned off by the overt comparison to the Soviets or Chinese.

8. I see your point, there could be a turnoff factor there... but still, I
think it's the truth, and people should really consider the effects of this one party juggernaut on the nation.

9. EXCELLENT QUESTION!
This is the question that the Dems need to POUND into the electorate for the rest of year! WHAT exactly has gotten better under the GOP's reign? Looking (or at least ATTEMPTING to look) objectively at the Bush Presidency from the beginning until today (during most of which the GOP controlled BOTH houses of Congress), can anybody think of ONE thing that Bush/GOP have done for the country that could be considered an improvement over Clinton and the Dems?
Anyone?.....Bueller?......Bueller?.........Bueller?:P
