3. Yes, he ridiculed Torie's assertion that she could "forgive" the
American people for opposing the ports deal because "they're busy" and don't have time to learn "the facts".

Way to go, Lou. Says it typifies a condescending attitude that prevails in Washington.

22. Ed Rollins said on Lou's show regarding Tori Clark
Perhaps the American people can forgive her for representing her boss at the Pentagon for telling us that there were WMD in Iraq. (paraphrasing)

5. I was SO glad he picked up on that and commented!
The arrogance at that comment "I can forgive" the American people for not supporting the deal, they are "busy with their lives". Unbelievably arrogant and condescending even for a bush-bot.

12. I missed it, but she was on the Situation Room and said
the same thing. She also said that we are all misinformed and that there was in fact a security review involving UAE's ties with terrorism. Oh really, Torrie? I guess you missed the hearing yesterday where it was admitted that they did NOT investigate it. Paul Begala was on with her and didn't call her on it.

4. Yup. * says that Americans are looking forward to eating mango's
So that's why we trade weapons of mass destruction technology. For mango's. No wonder we didn't get along with Hussein. He didn't have no mangos. Do they even grow mango's in Iraq?

13. Oh ,man, there is just no substitute for habanero.
We have habanero pepper sauce in the pantry right now.

My cousins' grandfather could eat 'em raw.

I would not recommend that to anyone.

hairy seeds.

My fellow Americans, we have stepped through the looking glass. We're trading advanced nuclear technology for mangos. I have fucking heard it all. We're doing this with a country that refuses to recognize the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty. I wonder what Iran & North Korea think.

that the NPT is all that effective.

For example, countries like China and NK were signatories to the NPT but they have been proliferating nuclear technology for several years now.

But on a side note, we're trading nuclear material not only for mangoes, but 'nuked' mangoes. The mangoes are going to be irradiated.
