I've had this fantasy since 2001 that when he gets impeached, thousands of pissed-off Americans will be on hand singing "the good-bye song" as he steps on the airplane one final time.

Just imagine thousands of voices singing:

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye

4. Impeached Does Not Remove Him
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 06:24 PM by OrangeCountyDemocrat
Remember, Clinton was impeached, but remained in office.

The only way he'll leave would be if he resigns, a la nixon. I can't imagine he will ever go quietly. We're stuck with him for 35 more months.

11. Actually the impeachment would decide whether he stays or not
Clinton was found not guilty at his impeachment. If he had been found guilty, he would have been removed from office.

13. CLINTON was ACQUITTED!!!
There's a huge difference, there. He was accused of a crime, but was acquitted of the charge.

You don't resign if the Senate doesn't vote to find you guilty. The House starts the process, but the Senate has to finish it....and they didn't do that.

18. Hell yeah!
If he was removed from office in disgrace, I would certainly want to be within 50 miles of him - that's probably how close they would let any protester get to him. Plus, my sister lives out there, so I'd have a place to crash.
