Conservatives are Soooo Arrogant

yet so ignorant and misinformed.

I'm listening to Thom Hartmann filling in for Sam Seder tonight, and two conservatives just called up, trying to defend "Reagan Voodoo economics", as Thom rightfully calls it. They try to talk over you, and the attitude is classic. The arrogance is unbelievable... I just want to choke the shit out of these assholes!

1. Sam had one on this afternoon

that did the same sort of thing-talking over Sam, not listening-but he talked himself into a corner-he said that "those people" in NO didn't want to work-and Sam made him admit he was making a racial slur! Later on, someone from NO called and told Sam that the place the conservative was calling from wasn't that hard hit, then congratulated Sam on outing the racist.

It was good hearing someone else call from Baton Rouge to dismiss that bigots comments about there being plenty of work in New Orleans.

looked back..(3 states between us isn't enough sometimes) I see my Mom and Dad now, but I don't take their advice on anything.. I mean, how could I trust their judgment?

just didn't know why exactly.. I cared about the needs of others besides myself.. I cried when I saw homeless people and I wanted to give them my allowance.. My daddy called me a bleeding heart, and I didn't even know what it meant.. Don't feel sorry for me though, I'm by far the happiest person in my family.. They have so much hate inside them.. I feel bad for them, I really do..

selling overpriced paintings , violins and what not to the newly minted rich. While, on the other side, they emptied the mental hospitals on the streets for lack of funds.

6. All the AAR and liberal show hosts should squelch or disconnect these guys

when they try the talk/shout over you thing.

Bad enough that the RW blowhards do this on their own shows, but to come on someone ELSE'S show and try to talk over them? Deserves no respect at all.

They should either have their mike turned down while host is talking, or get one warning from the host and then hung up.
