Can you name the general who is in charge of Pakistan?
BUSH: Wait, wait, is this 50 questions?

Andy Hiller: No, it’s four questions of four leaders in four hot spots.

BUSH: The new Pakistani general, he’s just been elected–not elected, this guy just took over office. It appears this guy is going to bring stability to the country, and I think that’s good news for the Subcontinent.

Hiller: Can you name him?

BUSH: General. I can’t name the general. General.

3. Oh, I'd forgotten that.
Thanks for the reminder.

What a dolt. No wonder his foreign policy consists of 'Yee-Haw!'

Funny thing is, I literally said Musharraf out loud before I opened your thread.

4. It's funny, but nobody ever picked up that freedom & democracy loving Bush
cheered on a military coup d'etat.

5. Well, he loves the Saudis and the UAE Emirs too!!!
Unelected DESPOTS, all of them, who own EVERYTHING.

See, freedom-loving peoples are only important when you have a shot at knocking over the despot and swiping the oil....the rest of them can go screw themselves, apparently.

6. But Musharraf is a 'good' dictator.
Kinda like the sort of dictator chimpy would be if he could be. It 'would make things a lot easier' for dear leader.

7. When Bush was selected the first time

by the SC, I would call him Busharraf.

Interestingly enough, many Pakistanis called Musharraf the same thing after 9/11 because of his perceived cooperation with Bush.
