I always go out and check the Iraq News sites to see how things are going over there. Since our news doesn't tell us much.

Not good. Not getting better, either. I think 26 died yesterday in bomb blasts. Sectarian violence is just getting worse and worse.

So just exactly what are we spending out money on over there? Billions and billions of dollars for a civil war? Just blows me away.

And we are saying things are getting better - but we are sending in gun ships? That is kind of an odd response.

1. Who was it that Sen. Kennedy asked if they had told bush that things...
... were getting better in Iraq? (I think he (Kennedy) may also have made a remark about bush not reading newspapers.)
