Why can't the democrats stop Blackwell?
Blackwell posts thousands of Social Security numbers online
In Ken Blackwell's stump speech (you know, the one with the angry rhetoric and divisive language) he eventually gets around to talking about the need to create jobs. And now, thanks to a massive screw up at his Secretary of State's office, Blackwell might have created a lot of jobs - jobs for data thieves, hackers and con artists.

It was revealed yesterday that Blackwell's office has been posting the Social Security numbers of Ohioans in a number of documents on his website. Documents that many fear may number in the thousands.

Ohio Democrats renewed their call yesterday for Republican Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell to remove Social Security numbers from certain documents available on his Web site. Blackwell said that’s not feasible right now.

"Secretary Blackwell needs to admit a mistake was made, correct it for the sake of Ohioans’ right to privacy and prevention of fraud and move on," said Senate Democratic leader C.J. Prentiss, of Cleveland.

Blackwell's office responded by telling reporters that examining each of the scanned documents and removing the social security numbers would take too much time right now.

1. He's sending out campaign literature on the State's dime.

I've received some that I've kept & informed the state DNC. He also promotes his faith-based coalition with a flyer that he includes when you recieve your business license. If it's not an issue by now, it will be soon.

3. The Democrats don't stop anybody particularly well
they are my part, but we are kind of gutless, spineless, ballless....whatever. Look at this Katrina tape, if this had happend to Republicans, they would be out there saying outrageous things about Democrats, etc. Look at all of our guys who have been silent. We try to take the "high ground" and show how dignified we are, but all it gets us is kicked in the teeth. We will never be consistent again until we are willing to get down in the mud with those pigs the Republikans.
