Mutiny in the ranks - Sen. Lindsey Graham

“I think the administration has looked at the legitimate power of the executive during a time of war and taken it to extremes. to the point that we’d lose constitutional balance. Under their theory, there would be almost no role for the Congress or the courts.” — Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)

25. I am.
I won't be happy until he is gone. and his little dog too. and all of his mindless minions too. I could go on but it would be redundant. How about a new campaign "Join the fifth column" Just a thought.

10. US News article
But something else is happening: Republicans are truly miffed at a White House that they consider too secretive, too arrogant, and too interested in extending its own power. When the president threatened to veto legislation to block a Dubai company from operating six American ports, that was too much--even for some conservatives. "I think the administration has looked at the legitimate power of the executive during a time of war and taken it to extremes," Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina told me. " to the point that we'd lose constitutional balance. Under their theory, there would be almost no role for the Congress or the courts." Mississippi's Sen. Trent Lott put it more succinctly: "Don't put your fist in my face."

YA THINK???

Damn, where have you been? A little bit late isn't it?

I doubt he has any real intention to do anything about it though.

17. My bold prediction: as the poll approval % drops, Lindsey and friends
will "question" * more and more.

Their only concern is their own hides.

12. What an asshole
This is the bastard who said that he appreciated the low pay, long hours, time away from family, sacrifices that the retired military veterans of America had to endure to fight for this country. But then turns around and says that he believes they should keep sacrificing by taking cuts in their disability pay, increases in their health insurance, cuts in the veterans adminnistration. In essence, he is a hypocrite who wants to try to balance the deficit by putting all these cuts and increases right on the very people who make America free. THE AMERICAN VETERAN!

Jerk!

15. Graham is a true weasal
A slippery deceptful weasal.

He plays just enough of the populist role to fool his people, meanwhile his votes cripple them.

22. If things keep going as they are Congress should...
be abolished. It will be a taxpayer waste of money.

The Neo Fascist Regime of the USA will not need a Congress.

24. it doesn't mean anything
Graham always says these type of things. but he never does anything about it. i was hopeful the first few times. but then i noticed how he still refused to do anything that would hold Bush accountable. all he does is talk.

until i see more i wont think much of this.
