100 Iraqi Shia tortured and beheaded south of Baghdad

A new catastrophic tragedy against the Shiites has been reported. One hundred decapitated bodies, children, women and men had been taken to Kerbala from south Baghdad.

The arrival of the beheaded bodies provoked a storm of anger and cry among the people there. The children headless-bodies were bloodstained all over.

Most of the bodies were hand-cuffed to the back.

The bodies were discovered and brought by the people and relatives. There was no action taken by the government.

Men, women and children, tortured and beheaded. The Sunnis must be suicidal.

If they were hoping for any sort of support from the US/UK this kind of slaughter will cancel any help they could use from being wiped out by US/UK, Kurds, Shi'ites &/or Iranians. The Shi'ites have been holding back in a major way but it seems that it won't be long until they go all out against the Sunnis.

Are the people in Iraq better off now than they were four years ago?

At least what Saddam was doing had nothing to do with you or me. Now what is happening in Iraq is every taxpayer in America's baby. The murder and torture, in our name, is nobody's fault but the neocons and the idiots who support them. I support our troops, but I have never supported their mission in Iraq. NEVER!

I wouldn't blame him any less if he'd cut personally cut off the heads of those poor unfortunate human beings. Where is any protection for those people. Where is the outcry from Republicans who just seem to twist the stories to say look how bad these terrorists are? If the Shiites could flee from Iraq where would they go? Where would they end up as homeless refugees? Certainly not in America. I believe we have immigration laws that prohibit them from coming into the country? How utterly tragic. I could weep but first I'd bang my head against the wall, for all the frustraion I feel. Bush wanted into that country come hell or highwater. He never cared about the intel or if So damn Insane was a brutal dictaor he just wanted in to clean up on the oil and provide Halliburton jobs for all his and Dick's buddies. I feel sick. How do they sleep at night?

The content and the links suggest disinfo to paint a picture of inevitable civil war and that Sunnis and Shiites have irreconcilable differences. There are dark actors who want you to think that.

The links are Bush friendly. (Fox News? The Washington Times? MEMRI? The US Embassy?) No anti-occupation blogs like Riverbend. And when I click on the "Mover Mike" link the first thing I see is a Jan 2 entry that says "399 days ago, John Kerry promised, on national TV, to sign form SF-180 and release his military records. He has yet to do so."
