Lou Dobbs is PISSED. Wow.
Edited on Mon Mar-06-06 06:43 PM by Blue_Roses
I knew he was mad about this Dubai deal, but he just fired off with a comment: "why would we continue to keep a government who does this?" (paraphrasing here) He then fired off several email of listeners--all bashing Bush--and you could see fire and smoke coming from his words. Yikes!

I've seen him mad about out-sourcing, but this takes it to a whole new level.

1. Well, we're outsourcing our security,
if you think of it that way, I can see why Dobbs and a lot of other folks are really angry!

puts McCain in as vp, then impeach bush an voila McCain is president..I don't trust these media whores at all...I hope I'm wrong about Dobbs, but I just don't trust any of them..They could be setting up an impeachment...

26. no. sorry but that really is gross speculation.
McCain is not a mainstream Republican. Being that he is perhaps the only Republican I would consider ever voting for, I greatly doubt this would ever happen. I think hell would freeze over first.

I think Lou is genuinely pissed. He is sick of out the out-sourcing and he's always talking about our borders. He's a conservative, not a neo-con. Big difference. Very few "conservatives" left from the GOP that think like this any more.

Cool. Some media guy finally said what's been so obviouse for 5 plus years.

39. And why were the ports sold to the UK in the first place?
This selling to the UAE deal is "just business", by their own definition.

But it's not just business, damn it. It's national security of a high calibre. It is not racism either, you cynics can sod off.

5. So the question becomes...
"If...and when...the Dubai deal goes through, what next?"

"If "our president" goes to India and talks about the outsourcing of jobs and how he KNOWS it's "painful," but vows to BLOCK any "protectionist" policies preventing FURTHER outsourcing, what next?"

"If 2300+ American men and women are dead in Iraq because of a war that Bush lied about, what next?"

"Rove, Plame, Abramoff, DeLay, etc. etc. etc., what next?"

Dobbs is pissed and so am I.

Bush is still president.

Suggestions, Lou? Other than just being pissed?

At some point, "we" (the Democrats) either take Bush down or let him finish off his 3 years (and America, or whatever is left of it):

37. We already know what the answer is.
I think the future may be a violent one here, once the masses of young men get angry enough. Historically, that's really the key to popular revolution once all other options are proved futile, hasn't it? I think this will only happen here if all viable options are tried and if the economic situation for the poor gets even worse. We still have it too good right now.

Lisby

Dobbs got very red-faced and looked like he was about to explode. I also thought Dobbs was going to punch him out at one point (and may have been thinking about it) for trying to blame it all on unions and working people for the fact that no American company wants to bid on the port contract. Fund looked like he wanted to disappear through the floor.
