I Cannot Believe What - - - - - - - - - - - - - Said Today!
This is the obligatory, I can't understand why So and So (insert Corporate Media Whore Name Here) said this today post.

Those of us who would not turn on these CRAP so-called "news" shows, have the pain enduring members of DU to thank for wasting time by watching this garbage, and then reporting back to us the results.

On the scorecard today, it appears that Blitzer has won the title today, with Tweety running a close 2nd. Still to come is O'Leilly, so I can't wait to see if he says something honest and intelligent. I'm sitting with baited breath to see if any DUers are able to post another "I can't understand why O'Leilly said what he did" comment.

1. It's simple why they say whatever they do
They're on the republican pay role. Murdoch pays him to spew whatever crap he can say as long as it's in favor of the GOP.

3. It's like a train wreck
Sometimes you just can't look away.

I think everyone checks into these shows just to see how bad it's getting.

And they're not usually diappointed.

9. If Bush says what he means, why is Scotty always having to
explain to everyone "what the President really meant".

10. I understand your feelings about the news shows, and if you feel
you can't watch, then by all means, don't. But, in general, these shows should be monitored for determination of which way the political wind is blowing on a variety of issues. We cannot cede the TV news shows to the pukes like we ceded the radio waves to the RW. Most people are not as politically astute as we are. They don't follow every little wrinkle in politics like we do. They mainly get their info (and opinions) from TV news shows. Therefore, it is imperative that some of us watch these shows and hold them accountable for what they say. One of the best organizations actually doing this is MediaMatters.org. I know the pukes have almost completely taken over and redefined the communication outlets...that was their plan all along. Again, therefore, it is important to fight this plan....by watching, discussing, and holding accountable.

If you don't like the looks of someone's post (can't believe what so and so said), don't click on it.

11. Yeah but as I hear it
NO I don't watch-but I can enjoy reading-Lou Dobbs is shitting all over the Bush admin every day. But he is a Republican and doesn't love Dems so that's not good enough for some. I think he's exactly what we need. One of THEM that get it enough to as I read on the thread claimed he said-maybe this government shouldn't be there anymore. Sounds like impeachment to me. Which by the way-even dumbass shows I no longer watch like the View had that word last week-yes I turned in for the first time in months and everyone agreed Bush is scum and Joy Behar said impeach! and the little Bushbot read every talking point word for word just like she had a chimp chip implanted.

Ya know I just had the thought-the more OBVIOUS it becomes that the Bush admin is totally incompetent and traitorous the more the heads push the most over the top crap on us. Propaganda works partly because it just never gives up. Like that Bushbot.
