This will require a massive relocation effort to handle all the refugees--yes goddammit REFUGEES--and we'll have to chip in and make sacrifices.
But we can do this. We handled the Federal Government's fuckup of Katrina, and tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people from New Orleans are making a new life for themselves permanently in the other states, which have taken them in.
This is an occasion like Katrina only worse, to which we must rise. West Germany did this for East Germany, so we in the rest of the Union, should certainly be capable of doing this for South Dakotans with uteruses.
Once the humanitarian catastrophe has been dealt with we can turn our attention to regime change. My view is that if they do not change their course after we threaten them with North Dakota, then South Dakota should be invaded and given back to the Sioux and the buffalo.
