Family Association. These folks are really batshit crazy. I get all kinds of crap about all the terrible things that are being done to Christians, and how all the rest of us are going to hell in a handbasket.

I like to check out their petitions, though. Usually it's a pre-set letter with no ability to edit.

But not today. This is a petition to stop Best Buy from selling the game "25 to Life", and I got to edit it.

"Please do not withdraw selling video games simply because American Family Association presents you with a petition. They are currently asking that you withdraw the game "25 to Life" from your stores. I understand that you do not endorse or encourage the violent behavior presented in this game.

"Let the free market determine what you sell.

"Your refusal to bow down to the wishes of the radical religious right will ensure my continued support of the fine products and good service that I've always received at Best Buy."

And after I sent that, AFA thanked me for caring enough to get involved.

4. That's not sick, it's great.
A while back, I had an email exchange with "The Center for Reclaiming America" regarding their claims that our founding fathers were born again christians "just like them". After several futile attempts at trying to lead me to christ, and links to several christian propaganda sites, the last email I sent was bounced back by their server. I was very polite, and all of my sources were well documented. I think that gets under their skin more than being rude.
