What's your definition of a "moderate" Republican?
Mine is, one who refuses to eat a live baby on TV -- at least not during prime time.

What's yours?

14. I was one...
My wife & I used to vote primarily republican even though I have very liberal views on the environment, woman's rights, gay marriage, separation of church and state. Somewhere around 2002 we both just stopped talking politics around the house. Then one day I had the shocking thought that I'm really more aligned with the democrats (trust me it was a shock). I mentioned it to my wife thinking she'd give me some push back, but instead I saw the relief on her face as she said she was thinking the same thing. Now we're back to talking politics again, we just bash republicans now.

Appalled by the insane social agenda of the reichwing
but driven by money-grubbing greed. In other words,
they just don't give a shit about anyone but themselves.

That's a moderate repuke. They're still in the cult.. whether they admit or not.
They try to differentiate themselves as Goldwater or Reagan Republicans....
the poor fools don't realize that this mess is their making.
They're the ones that look the other way at injustice.
They're the ones that LET genocides happen.
They're the reason the extreme religious nutjobs rule this country.
They are the problem... and they should be ashamed.

Anyone who allies with them now is one of them. The Neocons have hijacked the party.

Moderate Republicans...all went with Bushco like lemmings. Another problem with bi-polar two-party systems. It forces alliegances where there should be none.

I hope everyone who calls themself a "Moderate Republican" takes a hard look at what that really means. Those who are throwing all the Centrists together, regardless of party, have it about right. "Moderate Republicans" will be going with the Independent label IMO.

ex-Reagan Treasury appointee. He's become the most ferocious critic of Bush in the mainstream media, no matter what party. In a sane society, he'd be an honored leader of our opposition. Right now, he's a key ally in the fight against fascism--a concept he wouldn't regard as hyperbole...

there are only 2 groups - all across America - only 2 groups.

You either support what America is supposed to be - or you support the Bush Regime and all their crimes.

There is no gray.
There is no middle ground.
There is no compromise.
There is no I support Bush in some ways but not in others.

One or the other

You're either for "the people" or you're enabling the Bush Regime.

It's war - and right now, "the people" are losing big time.

Can't sit on the fence on this one.

Too much at stake.
