1. Dems are trying to make her confine her remarks to the substance
of the bill

"is the the time to proceed with this bill?"

What a bitch.

"this bill is directly related to the security of our nation."

3. There Must Be Some Type of Bonus For Blaming Things on Clinton
Seriously, the Repubs must have some sort of bonus system set up whereby if they can tie Clinton into a negative event.

10. There is a bonus
they still ahve to take it where ever their masters want to stick it, but, for publically blaming things on Clinton, they earn themselves some lubricant.

12. Don't let them fool you
The Repugs on the Hill are clever criminals who like to twist things to their purpose. They make these asinine statements to intentionally muddy the waters and further divide the people.

they repeat the same old mantras ad nauseum.

I can't wait for the GWB backlash that gets all these assholes voted out of office.

Me thinks she had lunch with DeLay.

ETA: Hell! Even NIXON's boyhood home was designated with knife through hot butter ease.

It's nice to see several of the (R)s standing up in support and saying it's not about partisan politics, for once.

15. I have already fired off a LTTE to my local papers:
Rep. Brown-Waite,

I was watching C-Span this morning and was shocked and disgusted by your absurd display of partisan pettiness. You stood up in objection to designating the boyhood home of William Jefferson Clinton as a historic landmark. This is a standard honor for those who served in this office.

For you to take issue with this legislation is beyond the pale, when you seem to serve only as a rubber-stamp for this Administration on issues of real importance.

To stand up in the House of Representatives and claim that Bill Clinton "brokered" the Dubai ports deal is embarrassing to me, as one of your unhappy constituents. You should be ashamed. All other speakers, Republican and Democrat, support this. You are alone in this; maybe you should wonder why.

I can only hope your taking your personal dislike for Mr. Clinton to the floor like that, and in the process wasting the Congress' valuable time, will come back to haunt you on election day.

22. Unvelievable! The "Chair" lies about what the camera can't see!
A Dem stood up and said only ONE person was standing in support of recorded vote; after she stated the rules require only 20% to require it. Then she states 'the ruling of the chair' can't be challenged.

We need to get a push to have a camera showing the ENTIRE chamber with an inset of the speaker! :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:

25. Nope. They'll be recording the vote because ONE person
stood and obected. So, either there were five people (which would be 20%) or the chair abused her power on the ruling.

maybe there should be a room dedicated to the UAE money?

Smarmy pug also said he himself never drank a drop underage nor inhaled , So there is no doubt that Clinton was able to overcome his upbringing and therefore he deserves this.
