Anything to avert attention from the real news that they dont show.

Like a SWAT action in Los Angeles is news?

5. Good article in the New Yorker about 2/3 weeks back

about frequency of car chases and the history of them being televised and the fact that there are so many more car chases in LA then in NY or DC or any other large city for that fact.
