OMG! I just sent this LTTE which I'm sure will be rejected
It's about the South Dakota bill. . .and I sent it to a paper there, so I don't expect it to be published, but. . .shoot....here it is...:

I think letter writer Kaity Parks has the right idea for the next step in protecting the stuff of life in religiously correct South Dakota (letters, 3/08).

Since the male-dominated state legislature has determined that women cannot be trusted in making decisions about their own bodies, those same males can certainly understand the necessity for the state to legislate curtailment of their own "recreational" activities.

Parks mentioned the need for ejaculation permits - I think that is a brilliant idea. Since men feel their choices about birth are limited anyway and can run from responsibility at will, criminalizing the discharge of their portion of the stuff of life would help the state better prevent unwanted pregnancies.

It's time for the men to step up to the plate and accept the state's right to preserve life at all origination points. Who knows how many potentially conceived human beings have been murdered by the random private behaviors of men?

Life begins with the male's thought of sexual gratification.

5. Hey you never know.
It just might get printed in order to get through those rich white men who have an overbearing sense of entitlement.

6. Men will be required
to freeze any unused semen and there will be random checks by the christain conservative sex police.

Hours will be set when South Dakota men are allowed to have erections. This will be strictly enforced by those with "conservative" integrity.

Life certainly begins long before penetration.

7. Good. Here is the one i wrote that will be in the Sacramento Bee
we here in Sac only have a 200 word limit which blows...they already sent me a reply that it will be published within 10 days. I am sure some freeper nutballs will be calling my house and threatening me.

I guess a 14 year old rape or incest victim carrying a baby for nine
months and giving birth to a constant reminder of the violent, life
changing act, does not harm the mother, in the view of the South
Dakota legislature.
I find it curious how the penalty is only given to the Doctor who
performs the abortion. Why isn't the party of life putting a penalty
on the distraught 14-year-old rape/incest victim? She is the one
bringing the "victim" to the doctor for the "murder"; she plans the
"crime" and lets the "crime" happen. The law makes that pre-meditated
murder with special circumstances. We all know the penalty for that
crime if you are a poor minority that has been abandoned by his
family, school, and government.
If the S.D. legislature had any conviction to their nonsense, they
would make it a crime for the mother too. They are only in it for
votes and could care less about the health of the mother or the
futures of these unwanted kids.
The GOP will fight to the death for a baby until he/she passes the
birth canal. Then the lazy, uneducated, entitlement loving bastards
are on their own.

8. I'm holding my letter until the Mississippi bill is signed
I want to put the attention on the punishment for performing an abortion in Mississippi. For the mother, no punishment. For the doctor, up to a 5k fine and up to 1 year in prison. Obviously the state legislature tricked fucked the state's religiously insane who equate abortion with murder. In MS you can commit "murder" and get one year in prison and the person who hired you to commit "murder" gets nothing. Not only religiously insane but legally insane as well.

9. Ohhhh...now that is a great one!
Frankly, I think we should be peppering every publication in this country with angry letters - and not letting up. . .

and we should DEMAND to know what criminal punishments the woman who gets an abortion anyway will face. . .they clam up fast when they have to deal with that issue.

14. If they truly cared about the zygote, they would punish the mothers too...
They clearly are just using this issue for votes from the right wing zombie brigade. They would make a new law stating that lawmakers daughters cannot drive to a border state (interstate commerce maybe)to get their abortions performed, while poor kids have to find a clean hanger.

10. "ejaculation charges". I hope they are only for deposits. I can't
any other charges. I once wrote a LTTE about abortion in the broadest sense. People looked up my name to get my address and sent preachy religious crap with no return addresses. It's the one subject that get people to find out where you live to get the "message" to you. The message, of cource, being abortion is murder.

11. I love it
Very well written.

I'm thinking the time has come for male chastity belts for SD's legislature. And the keys can be held by their wives or mothers.

12. There is OT support for this. If your seed hits the ground, you die
Certainly, biblical men wouldn’t ever dare masturbate. As the Most Honorable M. Python explained so eloquently in song, “Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great. If a sperm is wasted, god gets quite irate.”
One example of god’s obsession with wrongfully spilt sperm is found in Genesis. (There are many others.) Judah spotted a cute Canaanite virgin and raped her. His physical assault resulted in Er’s birth. He enjoyed her rape so much that he repeated his performance and nine months later out popped Onan, Er’s brother.
Eventually, Er married a hot, sexy babe named Tamar. Er died unexpectedly, although the reasons behind his death are rather vague. Daddy Judah ordered brother Onan to service Er’s sexy widow, but unfortunately, at least some of Onan’s sperm hit the deck. God got quite irate at Onan’s spilled seed and smote him on the spot. Or the stain, as it were.
The moral of the story is that if you are going to fuck your dead brother’s wife, even with your dad’s permission, don’t have a premature ejaculation.
One wonders, could Levitra have saved his life? At least, the newly created Onanite club learned a new practice.
As is so typical in the bible, the story can only get better. Tamar, finding her last two sex partners somewhat dead, managed to sneak her way into bed with Er’s and Onan’s daddy, Judah. Praise be to god, her daddy-in-law knocked her up. 38:13-18.
Despite thinking that she was just a hooker and having paid her in exchange for her exciting sexual favors, Judah later changed his mind and had her burned at the stake as a harlot. 38:24. Now that’s showing gratitude for services rendered.

They'll publish it, but "soften" (no pun intended) one or two phrases. Otherwise, I think it's a perfectly good letter, and ought to be published. Good job.
