Cobert - "Yes Jon, the carpet matches the drapes".....
Edited on Fri Mar-10-06 01:26 AM by MazeRat7
What a hoot... great line and commentary on the obsession in this country to be something we are not...

*nuff said I think. *wink.

MZr7

on edit: For those that did not see the Cobert Report... he was wearing a rainbow wig and wanted to wake up Jon's viewers. His point was the wig (the drapes) matched the "carpet"... you figure it out. *grin.

8. Haha! No, he wasn't impersonating an interior designer.
If you saw the clip you would get it right away. It's a fairly common cliched phrase.

5. I actually like Colbert better than TDS.
"The Word" is one of the best segments on TV. He's got some very clever writers and his character is so dead-on. It's a great show.

10. Is That Clairol Or Cake Mix???
How the hell does one dye their hair that way...LOL. Knowing some of the drunk morons who go to football games, I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually did a full "decorating job".

The Colbert Report gets better all the time...
