advice on tee shirt making

My cousin (who 2 years ago was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 26) participates as a team captain in the Avon Walk for breast cancer and her teams name
is the "pink panther" and she uses a logo of the pink panther.. Cafe press would not allow her to use the logo to make tee shirts so she designed one herself and they denied her again as its still considered a "likeness" and requires a license. Can anyone recommend a reputable online site were there might be some more flexibility.
The first 2 years she was doing this she had no problems getting teeshirts made for her team. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Here is the link to her

She should be able to find a local Silk Screener in the area to make them.

Please, don't use it without seeking permission from the copyright owner. Since this is for a worthy cause, such permission would probably be easy to obtain, but if you just go ahead and use it without asking, you are violating U.S. copyright law. You are using someone else's work to make money.

If you can't get around it, then come up with something different -- perhaps a bright pink shirt with a stock/royalty free panther image. Or, a bright pink shirt with just the word PANTHERS on it, in a stylized type. No one can stop you from doing that, and it probably wouldn't cost you money. OR -- a bright pink shirt with a pair of panther eyes on it, no character.

Again, when you have a worthy cause you'd be surprised at how many silk screeners, printers, designers would be willing to help you out for little or no cost. It'll give you a warmer fuzzy knowing you've done it without resorting to stealing someone else's copyright.

if it's under a few dozen and the decal isn't too crazy big, ink jet iron ons are pretty reliable and cost effective.

I did some recently for a corporate team event and they turned out perfect and have held up wash after wash without any change.

If it's a bigger area though or complicated dropouts (i.e., color on dark t-shirt) then I would recommend a local t-shirt shop where you can get them to run a proof for you first and you can actually see the t-shirt quality and color before you buy.

If you go with a company, there will be copyright issues.

It's easy enough to make them yourself, though, with iron on paper and images downloaded from the Internet. My kids do it all the time...

but of course is hoping to gain some team members so that number may go up.

Available at any office supply store. It may not look as nice as a silk screened one, but at least she'll have it.
