My right-winger co-worker's response to the ports going to Halliburton?
Edited on Fri Mar-10-06 11:24 AM by Hobarticus
He overheard another co-worker and I talking about it this morning, and I chuckled and said something along the lines of this shouldn't be a big surprise to anyone.

He chimes in, unsolicited: "Would Hillary approve? How about Bill?"

I said, "Huh? What do they have to do with this?"

Silence.

I then threw in, "Cheney's buddies did such a bang-up job rebuilding Iraq on our tax dollars, can't wait to see what they've got in mind for port security".

It's been real quiet since.

I don't mind an honest, intelligent debate, in fact I welcome it. But to resort to default, just bringing up the Clintons, tells me everything I need to know about the clown a couple cubes over.

16. what about grand central Station?

what happened to the NY central? Is this true?
quote: The Bush administration and the House and Senate are not addressing implications for a terrorist attack on New York City’s Grand Central Station, given United Arab Emirate (UAE) Dubai’s multiple alleged links to terrorism and the recent purchase of Gotham’s Helmsley building by a Dubai-based investment firm owned by the Emirate’s royal family.

6. Next: Contract to run the presidency
You heard it here first.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that the Supreme Court and the rethug-led Congress inks a contract with Helliburton to provide the country with a president and vice-president for the next 4 years.

Hmm. Actually, it's already happened.

11. Ha. You're right. And the job requirement was "Not too smart, Looking
for a moron, figurehead, who doesn't read, watch the news, or asks too many questions. Prefer ex-drinker, with head issues. Looking for good "christian" role player. Can not have conscience to care if people suffer or die."

4. That is the only response they have left and it's an emotional one....
We need to keep reminding them that it doesn't matter what Hill or Bill would have done, What matters is that it happended on * watch and he was going to allow it to happen. End of conversation.

Good job shutting him down!!

7. I'd feel bad, because he's a new employee and a little out of place...
I don't think he fits in very well, here, but it's not my call.

Now to publicly spank him like that...this is his bread and butter, I know I'd hate that, y'know?

But still, what a moron. You hang a curve ball like that, and someone will smack it over the fence.
