California DUers , Have you seen Arnold's campaign ads ?
Edited on Fri Mar-10-06 04:43 PM by JI7
i just saw one today. he talks about all the great things we have done and ends off with how we didn't even need to raise taxes.

it's of course filled with a bunch of BS.

on edit, here is a link to the article on the ad which i see is being funded by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-me-ads10mar10,0,2256913.story?coll=la-headlines-politics

here is part of what the ad says:

"The ad opens with the line: "He cut the deficit and helped create 400,000 new jobs." It then lists some of what Schwarzenegger wants to do. Under the heading "Schwarzenegger's California Blueprint," an announcer cites plans for "1,200 miles of new roads, 600 miles of mass transit, 40,000 new classrooms, thousands more modernized, with art, music and vocational ed restored.""

2. Saw it last night.
Load of hogwash. The people he brought in from the * WH have been working overtime - but the lies all have a familiar ring.

7. No, but I've seen several of Phil Angelides' ads
including one featuring Barbara Boxer. That's enough for me to support him.

8. Phil Angelides is great
i'm supporting him also . he will be a lot better than Cruz Bustamante.

he will be a lot better than Steve Westly who supported Arnold during the recall election. it's so funny seeing Steve's ads about how he will stand up to Arnold when he endorsed him back then.

9. Republican Ads are "News", so the Media Repeats Them For Free
Democratic ads are never considered newsworthy, so they just disappear into the void.

And now that the Repubs have moved to open defiance of the law, they've stuck us with
Diebold Republican Electing Machinez which fail all the security requirements,
without the legally-required public hearings,
without anything but the whim of the Secretary of State.
McPherson is our Blackwell.

The media is starting to hype up the Groper's campaign and the inevitability of his victory
so that we will accept their made-up election results in November.
