However my experience with our Party leads me to believe that not only will Hillary Run for the Nomination, she will be declared the only "Electable" candidate before 2008 or any of the Primaries.

major figures in our party. It won't fly. How can you claim that there is no Democratic support for her run, only republican trickery. The republicans may want to plot and manipulate, but that shouldn't detract from our party member's, and Sen. Clinton's own inituitive. I think you'll find (perhaps not appreciate), more than enough party support for the senator and desire for her candidacy as the election draws closer. Whether that support will eclipse other candidates remains to be seen. But, to suggest that a major figure and fighter for our Democratic party like Sen. Clinton can only find support for a presidential run in the republican camp is ridiculous.

I'm getting a bit fatigued with all the Hillary stuff!!! As much as I want her to runa and win, I would rather look to 2006.

I just feel the need to defend her and her potential candidacy, and I have been doing it so much I am getting a bit testy!!

me when he saw my Clark buttons during the 2004 primary. He loved Clark. Hates the Republicans. Voted for Kerry in the general.

However, he told me last week that if Hillary was the nominee, he'd have to vote Republican or Independent because he hates that "man-hating bitch." He said he would vote for other women, but not her.

Now, I told him that she wasn't, of course, that he'd been exposed to too much right-wing propaganda, but that I agreed that she wouldn't win, simply because of attitudes like his (he didn't change his mind about Hillary, btw).

It's the sad and simple truth and I don't even think some of it is based in misogyny. I think Hillary just rubs a lot of people - male and female - the wrong way, for whatever reason.
