Today in Iraq - In Pictures

?x=204&y=345&sig=zaTryAO99VMKTfEKbnMfFg--

One thing I've noticed about Iraq lately is that you rarely see US Troops or even Iraqi troops out on the streets anymore. Even after an attack, the US is not there assisting. What I'd like to know is that if we aren't even trying anymore, then what the fuck are we doing there?

Of course, George

had another great day.

3. American exposure to hostilities has likely been scaled down

in order to keep American casualty numbers down so as to not reflect adversely on the Commander-in-Thief.

5. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised
the only thing BushCo cares about is protecting the oil fields and fueling the insurgency so they have an excuse to stay.

and a fucking failure at anything he does.

He should be impeached, stripped of his citizenship and taken to the Hague.

A U.S. helicopter evacuates the injured during a fierce battle between U.S. soldiers and Iraqi gunmen in a dangerous west Baghdad neighborhood , Iraq, Sunday, March 12, 2006. It was not known what prompted the fighting nor if there were any dead. An AP Television News cameraman reported that a U.S. helicopter landed nearby to remove casualties. There was no immediate comment from the U.S. military. (AP Photo/ Asad Muhsin)
