The censure is going to make worldwide news.

It is a tank rolling right over Bush at a time when he is barely hanging on to the cliff with his fingernails. It has by proxy, devastating consequences for the puke Congress because they will have to go on record as either being complicit or agreeing that Bush broke the laws.

This gives Conyers more ammuntion to use on his resolution 635, which is gaining momentum slowly but surely. Conyers wants to make the case iron tight that will prove conclusively through witnesses that the war was contrived and that the NSA is a cover for illegal domestic spying. The censure proposal by one of the 100 most influential voices in the world as a member of the Senate, forces a "do or die" choice to those puke enablers in the House of Preventatives the same way it will in the Senate.

Feingold is taking a brilliant approach to ramping up the case for investigation, which will then lead to the elections victory, which will then lead to impeachment.

He's just doing it in a way that Frist is going ballistic over but there is nothing he can do about it. The black curtain has been pulled away. This puts them all in a box and it will not be pretty or comfortable.

7. Attaches Republicans to the hip of George W. Bush
During an election year and when a strong majority of the country knows Bush doesn't give a shit about them. Now they can see how Republicans continue to cover-up and enable Bush's oppression of the majority of Americans.

8. Exactly
The repukes tried it with the Murtha resolution. Now we need to do it to them. Anyone who votes against censure means they are in favor of prolonging the war by not getting our troops out now, means they are in favor of wiretapping US citizens without a judge's approval, and favors expanding the war into Iran. Because if Bush isn't pulled back on a short leash, that is exactly what he will do.

9. Plus it's going to give
Feingold a worldwide stage to lay out all the felonies in sordid detail and all the Republicans can do is squirm.

I expect he will be using some colorful and devastating language.
