Bin Laden's deputy had lived in US

SACRAMENTO: Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri, lived in California in 1998 and 1999, a paid FBI informant says.

Naseem Kahn, 32, who gave evidence on Monday in the trial of a Pakistani-American father and son accused of terrorism-related activity, told the court he frequently saw Zawahiri coming and going from the mosque in Lodi, south of Sacramento, but never talked to him and did not know who he was at the time.

Zawahiri, an Egyptian believed to be hiding in Pakistan, this month called on Muslims to attack the West.

2. It stands to reason Bin Laden's friends/cohorts were and are...........

....in the US as temporary or permenent residents. Anyone that has read up on the Bush family knows the Bush's were and probably are still good friends with the Saudi royal family. In fact on 9/12/01 when all air traffic over the US was grounded the Saudi royal family were flown out of the US on private planes - with Bush's blessings. So it's only reasonable that Bin Laden would at some point bring his friends with him.

When I heard this, last night the first thing I said to my husband was, "bullshit!". I didn't believe this at all. This bunch is so full of crap, their eyes are brown. All of a sudden, they findthis out. I live in Sacramento County, just to the north and I don't believe this mess for one second. Not ONE SINGLE SECOND!! They're trying to buck up their case against the two Muslims in Lodi they've accused of being involved in terroristic activities and training in Afghanistan.
