Will Russ Feingold Stand Alone Again?
Well Democrats? Will he?

Have you called your Senator and asked him/her to stand with Senator Feingold?
TOLL FREE NUMBER: 1-888-355-3588

Classwarrior has a great suggestion - when you call, ask the aide, "Does the Senator support censure or criminal activity?"

<snip>
On Monday Vice President Cheney encouraged boos for Feingold at a fundraiser in Feingold’s home state of Wisconsin and dared other Democrats to support the resolution.

<snip>
The outcry from Republicans was matched by the sound of silence from the Democrats. On Sunday Sen. Carl Levin, who is a serious player when it comes to intelligence, said they should wait until the investigation was completed, and on Monday Sens. Reid and Lieberman hemmed and hawed and said they hadn’t had time to read the resolution. When pressed, Lieberman said he thought they should “try to find a solution instead.” Democrats hung together on the faux security issue of the Dubai stewardship of the ports, but on real national security issues, they get nervous.

<snip>
Juliette Kayyem, a former Clinton administration official and expert on terrorism and homeland security who is now a Harvard’s Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs says that Feingold’s resolution should be taken seriously.

<snip>
Howard Dean says that Americans are hungering for authenticity and historically Democratic caucus and primary voters tend to tilt left. If Feingold gets into the race maybe McCain-Feingold will become McCain v Feingold in 2008.

2. Call Harry Reid - he takes calls from all Democrats
because he is the Minority leader.

4. I tried my alleged Senators.
One staffer got a good laugh and the other just hung up on me. But I can say I called them. If I get my spirits up again today I may even repeat this worthless exercise, you may borrow mine and call them as well if you would like.

Heck, if you are in DC, feel free to drop in and yell at them for me also! I will happily sign a proxy for you if you need it.
